Dear Dr. DelGrande, I am so sorry to learn of Yvonne's passing. My memories of her are from when I babysat for your children ... what a kind, peaceful, and lovely woman she was. My Dad (who just turned 94) and I send our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. DelGrande. Like Paul Dykeman, I was also in her religious education classes each week, when she opened her home to us and did her best to guide our group of high school teenagers and enlighten us spiritually. It is a time and memories that I will always cherish. She was a kind and gentle woman who made a positive impact on myself and many others in the Roe Jan community. May you all find comfort in your memories of a wonderful woman.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. DelGrande's passing. She was a very influential person in my upbringing. I have fond memories of attending church school at her house on Monday nights, where she tolerated our adolescent behavior and created an atmosphere of listening and caring to us. Later in life, I recall my Dad taking her grandchildren fishing and telling me how much he enjoyed both that and chatting with her. My thought and prayers are with you all.

I remember the Delgrande family visiting us at our house when we were young. Yvonne was a fantastic cook. She gave so much of herself to her family, friends, and the community. We loved her very much.

The facts of Yvonne's life cannot capture the beauty and grace of her character and contribution. She was very special, expressing her deep faith in every interaction, with everyone she met. I have had the opportunity to work over the past few years for the DelGrandes..The nicest family I have had the pleasure to work for.When we had our lunch break Yvonne would always make it a point to come out and sit with us and join us in conversation.Many discussions about Notre Dame and football with both.God Bless Yvonne and the family.

I will always treasure my memories with this beautiful angel. She was my 4-H leading and my guiding light when I was sick with cancer. Always lifting me up and encouraging me to fight. She will be greatly missed, but will always be in my heart.
