From diving over tables and broken chairs playing spoons to water fights to delivering babies, Phyllis was a thoughtful, fun, loving woman. Unfortunately, "Phyllis" was taken way too soon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.

Phyllis was the first person to welcome our family to Myrtle Ave. she showed up at the door with blueberry muffins and alway seemed to have a kind gentle way about her. Phyllis and I drove a neighbor who was in labor to Vassar Hospital and her contractions were very close, not only was Phyllis able to calm the labored mother to be, but she also calmed me, the driver. She pressed some of my flowers into a card that she made for me, I will always cherish it.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family. Phyllis was such a special person. I was fortunate enough to be the labor and delivery nurse for her first child. She insisted on keeping her knee socks on. Loved her gentleness. Onnie
