Thomas D. Dotterer

Thomas D. Dotterer, 55 of Craryville, passed away peacefully March 21, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Cold Spring, on September 30, 1965 to the late George and Brenda (Duro) Dotterer. Tom worked for Honeywell as an Information Technologies Engineer for the last thirty plus years. Thirty-five years ago, he took up taxidermy which eventually led him to own and operate Lone Wolf Taxidermy. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed hunting deer, pheasant, and his favorite turkey. Tom was also a member of the Philmont Rod & Gun Club. A carpenter as well, he would fix or improve anything around the house. When not working on something he would enjoy rides on his Harley, playing his guitar, or training his Labs.

Thomas is survived by his wife Donna Dotterer, his son Dylan Dotterer and his girlfriend Carrie Harring, daughters Samantha (Matthew) Williams, Asya Morey (Brodrick Morrison) and Amber MacArthur. His seven grandchildren, Logan and Rose Williams, Jason Gaylord Jr., Keyon Holmes, Taydence, Darian and Asyianna Morrison. Also, by his three brothers, George, David and Bruce Dotterer, and two sisters, Suzanne Speziale and Connie Dotterer.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Beth Dotterer, and his beloved lab Jessie.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 Pm at Peck & Peck Funeral Home, 8063 Route 22, Copake. Where a prayer service will be conducted at 7:30pm.

Due to Covid-19/NYS Guidelines – masks, social distancing and capacity limitations will be followed during all services.  During visitation, please be respectful to those who may be waiting to visit by keeping your visit brief.  Your cooperation is appreciated.
