Red Hook and Milan, NY - Thomas A. Daley, 85, passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Tom was widely and well respected for his deep historical knowledge. He presented many lectures to the Milan, Rhinebeck and Newburgh Historical Societies and the Warwick Conference Center; he also led the Elder Hostel lectures for Hudson Valley Estates.
Tom served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following his service he worked for NCR as a salesman.
He was a lifelong member of the Church of the Regeneration, Pine Plains.
Born December 9, 1934 in Sharon, Ct., he was the son of George and Isabelle (Cross) Daley.
Tom is survived by his sister Louise Ufford; 3 nephews Dewitt, Robert and Richard Ufford; and his dear friend David Gil. He was predeceased by a brother George Daley.
A visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 11 -12 PM, at the Church of the Regeneration, Pine Plains. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM.
