SFC William Hanley Jr. Obituary

SFC William J. Hanley Jr., 64, of Pine Plains, passed away on August 4, 2021 at his residence. He was born on March 9, 1957 in Sharon, Connecticut to the late William J. Hanley Sr. and Edith (West) Hanley. In 1975 he graduated from Webutuck School and entered in the United States Army. After 22 years of service, he retired, and went to work as an auto mechanic. For over the last 10 years Bill worked at Red Hook Auto, as a mechanic.

Bill is survived by his three brothers and their spouses, Kenneth (Ruth) Hanley, Russell (Lisa), and Jason Hanley. His daughter Jillian Pruiett- Locke, his step-mother Nyoma Hanley. In addition to several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services are being held at the convenience of the family and interment is being planned for Arlington National Cemetery.
