Marjorie Jean Weaver

Marjorie Jean Weaver, a lifelong area resident, passed away peacefully at The Meadows at Brookmeade nursing home on June 30, 2022. She was born in Pine Plains on December 27, 1930, the daughter of the late W. Pulver and Jennie (Remsberger) Bird. She married the love of her life, Jack Weaver on September 9, 1950. Jack passed away on December 30, 2009. They spent their lives working on their chicken farm, driving school bus and traveling. Once retired, they enjoyed their winters with friends in Florida. Whatever they did, where ever they went, they were always together.

Marjorie is survived by her brother, Don Bird and partner Kathy Sigler, her sons, Doug and his wife Debbi, Drew and his wife Kim, six grandchildren, Matthew, Nicole, Darren, Doreen, Derrick, Mallory and Corey and eleven great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was predeceased by her brother, Bob Bird, her sister, Gail Sweeney and her daughter, Dale Bessette.

There will be a private graveside service held at the convenience of the family.
