Lawrence D. Pariseau “Chaplain Larry”, 61, of Pine Plains, passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2021. He was born in Queens on March 25, 1960 the late Lawrence and Andree (Guillmain) Pariseau.
 

Larry was a builder and handled many construction projects in and around the Dutchess County area. A talented contractor who could fix or build almost anything.  He was also committed to serving his community by being actively involved in the Pine Plains Fire Company. Over the years he has served in various capacities, most notably as Chaplin of the fire company.  Larry was also the Chaplin for the New York State Disaster Taskforce, serving through New York State in times of tragedy. He was also a 9-11 rescue worker, who served at the World Trade Center. Above all else family came first for Larry.
 

Larry is survived by his wife, Kim Dunn Pariseau, his children; Cassandra Fay Freeland and her husband Jason, Alexander Rabito Pariseau, John Rabito Pariseau and his wife Jennifer, and Kristen DeRosa and her husband James. As well as a village of grandchildren and nieces and nephews and his sister, Andree Chantal Chamberlain and her husband Rick.
 

In addition to his parents, Larry was also predeceased by his sister, Reverend Denise Mantell, and his brother Daniel Pariseau.  
 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 3:00pm at the Pine Plains Fire Company, 7 Lake Road, Pine Plains. The family will receive family and friends beginning at 2:00pm.
