Jackie (Kilmer) Brightly

Jackie Brightly, 76 of Ancram, NY passed away peacefully on Saturday June 3, 2023 at her residence with family by her side.

She was born on December 10, 1946 in Rhinebeck, NY a daughter of the late Harvey and Clara (Reinke) Kilmer.

Mrs. Brightly was employed by the United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier in Ancram for over 25 years.

She was pre – deceased by her husband  George Brightly in 2014.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Lougheed (Kyle), George Brightly, Michael Brightly and Lisa Mortenson (Eric). She also leaves her grandchildren Nicole, Kyle, Lindsay, Candace, Michael, Eva and Erin and great grandchildren, Emmaline, Bjorn, Parker, Charlotte, Juliette and Cecilia. In addition, she is survived by a brother, Pete Kilmer and dear friend Dorothea Hotaling.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday June 11, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home. 8063 State Route 22 in Copake, NY. Pastor Jackie Jefferson will officiate.

A reception will be held at the Ancram Fire House immediately following the service.

Private Interment will be held on Monday at Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson, NY.
