Gladys Dutchie Jensen

Gladys (Dutchie) Shadic Jensen, age 92 went home to be with her Lord on September 19th, 2020 while residing at Pine Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born on January 8th, 1928 in Great Barrington, MA.
She was a longtime resident of Craryville, NY. A lifetime member of the Craryville United Methodist Church and the Craryville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. 
Gladys was devoted to the Lord, her family and the community. Spending time with her family was precious to her. Family gathering, birthdays, weddings or just a quick visit with one of her grandchildren are memories she would share throughout her later years.
She truly enjoyed cruise vacations with her family and going to the casino.
She is survived by her children, William (Maria) of Lacey, WA, Irene Miller (Sonny) of Hudson, NY, Edward of Millerton, NY. Peggy Dysard of Craryville, NY, Brenda Baird (Carl) of Craryville, NY, Lori Stocchetti (Filippo) of Kinderhook, NY. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren and a sister, Joyce McDonald.
Predeceased by her husband William Jensen, grandson Pieter Jensen, siblings Everett (Sonny) Shadic, George Shadic, Fred Shadic, Alice Edgebert, Helen Coons, Lillian (Pete) Campbell and Vivian Shadic.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.

A Celebration of Life to which family and friends are invited will be held on Saturday July 31, 2021 from 11:00 - 2:00 at the Copake Memorial Park Building.
