Obituary
Gertrude Kellner, 94 of Pine Plains, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and beloved dogs. She was born on March 14, 1929 in Queens, NY to Bernhard and Erna (Scheuch) Brock. Gertrude was a Registered Nurse for many years and lived her life according to her faith and compassion for all.
Gertrude leaves behind her 4 children, Patricia Kettelle, Richard (Karen) O’Malley, Rita Zielinski, and Keith Kellner. Five grandchildren, Clifford Kettelle, Walter (Jannett) Dinsmore, Jessica (Jude) Bilski, Connor & Alex Kellner. In addition to her five great-grandchildren, Ethan, Paxton, Marek, Nora, and Amelia. She also leaves behind her beloved dogs that were her constant companions.
A memorial service will be held at Noon on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 371 Wurtemburg Rd, Rhinebeck, New York. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Animal Haven, St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wurtemberg.
