Eileen M. Oakley, 100, of Stanfordville, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She was born in Yonkers on May 15, 1922 and was the daughter of Clarence and Theresa (Wall) Miller. Eileen would come to Hunn’s Lake as a child where her grandparents owned a farm. She enjoyed flowers and worked for florists in the area over the years. She was very active in the home bureau and also the Poughkeepsie Yacht Club. Where many dear friendships were formed. Eileen and Chester would host memorable New Year’s Eve parties for their friends and family.

Eileen is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Oakley of Stanfordville, and Barbara Brown of South Carolina. Her grandchildren Tyler and his wife Patty Santmire, and Elizabeth and her husband Kent Gocgnauer. Two great grandchildren, Bobby and Ellie.
