Dorothy (Jensen) Warren

Dorothy Warren 94, of South Cario, New York, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, with family by her side.

She was born March 5, 1927 in Hillsdale, NY to Fred B. and Mina A. (Race) Jensen.

She spent many years doing the laundry at Camp Pontiac in Copake, NY. She also worked at Candy Lane, in Hudson, NY, and Hillsdale Packing in Hillsdale, NY,.

She is survived by her children: Robin Salvatore (Tim) of South Cairo, NY, Doris Clark of Lewiston, ID, Deyo Warren of Geronimo, OK, Chuck Warren (Sandra) of Taylorville, IL, Woodrow Warren (Jane) of Valatie, NY, Alice Johnson (William) of Craryvile, NY and John Warren of IL. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren and several friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Warren, her son Sidney David Warren and her daughter Dolores Moore. Additionally, she is predeceased by her siblings Minnie Hotaling, Frederick Jensen, Blanche McWhirt, William Jensen, Beth Coleman, Harold Jensen, Barbara Brazie and Hazel Coleman. 

The family will be having a private graveside burial in the Spring.

In lieu of flowers the family requests the donations be made to the Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers Activities Department in her name.
