Daniel Guglielmetti

Daniel Guglielmetti, 57, of Pine Plains, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2023 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. He was born on March 29, 1965 in Brooklyn to the late Aldo and Vilma (Coletta) Guglielmetti. 

Danny  graduated 1983 from Stissing Mountain High School where he excelled at track & field and held a record for the longest pole-vault. He earned his associates degree from Dutchess Community College and began running the recreation department in Pine Plains. Over the years he mentored and coached the local youth. He loved sports and was an avid New York Yankees fan. Danny enjoyed working on his sudoku puzzles at the Backyard Garden while drinking Red Bull with friends.He was also a great fan of the band Kiss.

Danny is survived by his sister Christine McBeth and her husband Wayne. His niece Alyssa McBeth, and his devoted aunt Rosa Guglielmetti. In addition to several cousins. 

A graveside service and a celebration of Danny’s life are being planned for later this spring and will be announced.
