Wayne Allen Keesler, 90, passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026 at the Pines at Catskill. He was born on April 29, 1936 in Bradford, Pennsylvania the son of Harold and Edith Keesler. In 1954 he graduated from Bradford Senior High School and went on to graduate from St. Bonaventure University. He enlisted in the United States Army on October 2, 1958. During his time in the Army he proudly played in the band and was honorably discharged on September 29, 1960.


Following his discharge from the army Wayne became a buyer for Lord And Taylor in NYC, and then going on to become Vice President of John Matouk’s textile company for 40 years.


On July 20, 1963 he married Francesca (Chichi) Ferrara. Together they lived in Jackson Heights, Bronxville and Yorktown Heights, until moving to Stormville in 1976.

Wayne was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Beekman, where he enjoyed singing and playing the saxophone. He also enjoyed gardening, tending to his vegetables and enjoying the beauty of Orchids. Above all else he loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchild.Wayne is survived by his two daughters, Lynn Price of Port Matilda, PA and Cindy (John) See of Copake, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Samantha Ferris, Reid Ferris, Hailey See, Eric (Marilyn) Fahnestock and his great granddaughter, Francesa Fahnestock. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother Charles Keesler and his beloved wife Chichi on April 18, 2002.

There will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held privately and burial will take place in Beekman Cemetery, Poughquag, New York.
