Rita Cave

Rita Cave, 104 of Copake, NY passed away peacefully on Thursday August 24, 2017 at the Pine Haven Home in Philmont, NY.
She was born on May 7, 1913 the daughter of Thomas J. and Margaret M. (O’Gorman) Cave.
Rita was a dedicated elementary school teacher for many years in the Mt. Vernon, NY public school system.
Along with her parents she was pre deceased by a brother Robert J. Cave and a sister Virginia Cave.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 11 AM from the Parish of Our Lady of Hope, Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY. The Rev. George Brennan will officiate.
Private interment was held at New St. Bridget’s Cemetery.
