Richard LaBelle

Richard LaBelle, 65, born April 7, 1961,in Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, in Albany, New York. He was a devoted and endearing individual whose presence touched the hearts of many with his lovable and kind nature.

Richard dedicated much of his working life to the community through his role performing piece and assembly work for COARC in Philmont, NY.  Richard was a proud high school graduate, an achievement that served as a foundation for his meaningful contributions to those around him. Known for his warm personality, he was cherished by those who knew him for his gentle spirit and kindness. Richard's life was marked by the simple virtues of compassion and earnestness, qualities that made him a beloved member of his community.

He is survived by his sister, Mary LaBelle. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, John and Janice (Holmes) LaBelle; his sister Karen; and most recently by his brother John in 2025. 

Richard LaBelle’s journey was one defined by quiet dignity and heartfelt connection, leaving behind a lasting impression of genuine kindness. 

A graveside service will be held on June 19th, 2026 at 10 am, in Cedar Park Cemetery, where Richard will be laid to rest with his brother John.
