Priscilla Ann Murphy

Priscilla Ann Murphy, 54 of Old Route 82 in Livingston, NY passed away on Wednesday August 24, 2016 at her residence.

She was born on January 6, 1962 in Sharon, CT a daughter of the late Ralph and Hilda (Hoysradt) Sherman.

Priscilla had been employed as a certified nursing assistant at the Gt. Barrington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gt. Barrington, MA.

She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, crocheting, watching her children compete at Lebanon Valley Speedway and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

On October 20, 1979 in Pine Plains, NY she married Thomas H. Murphy Sr. who survives her at home.

Surviving besides her husband are her children, Jeanie Murphy of Copake Falls, NY; Thomas H. Murphy Jr. of Hudson, NY; Jesse Murphy of Elizaville, NY and Christopher Murphy of Ancramdale, NY. She also leaves her grandchildren, Oliver McCann and Juliet Murphy along with her siblings, Barbara Kelly of Copake, NY; Raymond Sherman of Dover Plains, NY; Steven Sherman of Gallatin, NY; Kathy Sherman of Elizaville, NY and Michael Sherman of Craryville, NY. Priscilla also leaves several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she was pre deceased by a son Henry Murphy and a brother John Sherman.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday September 3, 2016 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake, NY.
