Louise T. Mccormack

Louise T. McCormack, 96 of Poughkeepsie, NY and formerly of Craryville, NY (Columbia County) passed peacefully on Sunday April 8, 2018 at the Lutheran Care Center in Poughkeepsie.

She was born on November 14, 1921 in New York City to Dominick and Domenica (Rossi) Zazzera.

A housewife, she was formerly employed at the Craryville Grocery.

While residing in Craryville she was a communicant of the former St. Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church in Copake Falls, NY. Upon moving to Poughkeepsie she attended St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church.

During her time in Poughkeepsie she was a member of RSVP, The Retired Senior Volunteer Program and also served as a foster grandparent.

Louise was pre deceased by her husband Thomas McCormack and her son Brian McCormack.

Survivors include her children, Barbara Severance of Poughkeepsie, Dr. Thomas McCormack of Troy, NY and Patricia Quinn of Austerlitz, NY. Also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Friends are invited and may call on Thursday April 12, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday April 13, 2018 at 10 AM from the Parish of Our Lady of Hope, 8074 State Route 22 in Copake Falls with the Rev. George Brennan officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Bridget’s Cemetery.
