Linda M. Pfeiffer

Linda M. Pfeiffer, 71 of South Burlington, VT passed away on Wednesday January 6, 2016 at the University of Vermont Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born on July 30, 1944 in Gt. Barrington, MA the daughter of the late Harold R. and Hazel (Becker) Pfeiffer.

Linda was a graduate of Hudson High School in 1962 and then attended Alfred State University earning her degree in 1964.

Upon graduation from Alfred she was employed by the University of Buffalo as a laboratory technician for several years before moving to Burlington in 1971. From 1971 until her retirement in 2006 Linda worked as a lab technician and research analyst at the University of Vermont.

Linda was an avid reader, a cat lover and had a passion for genealogy, tracing the family history back to the early 1800's.

She had a kind heart and leaves us with many memories.

Survivors include her brother, Wayne D. Pfeiffer of Acton, MA and a cousin, Harold Williamson of Remsen, N.Y.

A Celebration of Life for Linda will be held on Sunday February 21, 2016 from 1:30 - 4:00 PM at the Eagle's Club, 1233 Shelburne Rd. in South Burlington, VT.

Spring interment will be in the Hillsdale Rural Cemetery.

Arrangements are with the Peck and Peck Funeral Home of Copake, NY.
