Judi Elizabeth Miller-Firth, a beloved mother, sister, daughter, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on September 24, 1960, in Poughkeepsie, New York, Judi spent her life dedicated to caring for others and bringing joy to those around her.
She was known for her compassion as a registered nurse at Taconic DDSO in Wassaic, New York. Her career in nursing was marked by an unwavering dedication to her patients and an innate ability to comfort those in need. Her commitment to care extended beyond her profession, as she was also had a deep love for animals, particularly dogs, and enjoyed nurturing her garden. Her playful spirit shone through in her love of crafts and her talent as an amature comedian, she was always ready with a joke or a kind word to lift spirits.
Judi is survived by her loving daughters, Bryanne Firth and Amanda (Jon) Wadman, her cherished grandson Koda. Sisters Terri (Doug) Card, Sandi McRoberts and long time friend, Linda Miller. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, Elwood "Jake" Miller, Sr., Shirley Miller, as well as her brother, Elwood "Jake" Miller, Jr.
Judi's legacy is one of warmth, kindness, and laughter, and her memory is forever cherished by all who knew her. In accordance with her family's wishes, services celebrating Judi's life will be held privately at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Peck & Peck Funeral Homes in Copake, New York. The family thanks you for your support and caring thoughts during this difficult time.
