Amenia, NY - Joseph Parditka, 90, a resident of Amenia and previously of Bronx, NY passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at The Kent Specialty Care Center in Kent, CT.
He was born on October 31, 1922 in Budapest, Hungary, the son of the late Joseph and Gizella (Molnar) Parditka.
Mr. Parditka worked for the City of Poughkeepsie for eighteen years.
He shared a love of animals with is grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of sixty three years, Anna (Margetti) Parditka; a son, Joseph and his wife Linda; a daughter, Gizella and her husband John; five grandchildren, Anna, Tammy, Joey, Rose, Joshua and five great grandchildren.
There are no calling hours.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, December 21, from Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church Copake Falls, NY with Fr. George Brennan officiating.
Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
