Jane G. Knox, 88 of Copake, NY passed peacefully at her residence on Thursday April 19, 2018.

She was born on September 16, 1929 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Copake at a young age. She was the daughter of William and Anna Grube.

Jane was employed as a customer service representative at Key Bank in Copake for over 40 years. She and her late husband Charles were avid collectors of antique oil lamps and sugar shakers and were members of the Lamplighter’s Club.

Jane was an active member of the Church of St. John in the Wilderness in Copake Falls and served as past treasurer and member of it’s Altar Guild.

On April 21, 1956 at St. John’s she married Charles H. Knox who pre deceased her in 2013.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Dean and Rose Knox of Ghent, NY and her granddaughter Ashley and husband Eric Schaible of Clifton Park, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 24, 2018 at 11 AM from the Church of St. John in the Wilderness, Route 344 in Copake Falls NY with the Rev. John Thompson officiating.

Calling hours will be private.

Interment will follow the service in St. John’s Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be offered to St. John in the Wilderness, PO Box 180, Copake Falls, NY. 12517.

Arrangements are with the Peck and Peck Funeral Home of Copake NY.
