Evelyn L. LaManna 80, Livingston and formerly of Pine Plains, passed away on June 10, 2026. Born on May 21, 1946, in Port Chester, New York to William and Evelyn (Morisse) Gassparini. Evelyn lived a life marked by honesty and a fondness for bright colors, reflecting her straightforward and lively nature. She was a Licensed Real Estate Broker with Barns and Farms in Taghkanic, New York, known for her youthful spirit and vibrant personality, she had a keen eye for style and architecture.

Throughout her life, Evelyn enjoyed hobbies that brought her joy and connection with others. She loved bingo and shopping, with a particular fondness for shoes and coats, which she collected with great enthusiasm. Among Cherished memories shared by those who knew her was a special trip to Hawaii where she surprised her grandson for his birthday. She also delighted in embracing life with a youthful energy and zest.

Evelyn’s proudest accomplishments were always her family. She leaves behind: her sister, Anna Marie Brooks; her children Michael, Sherry (Michael) Morganelli, Philip (Tracy) LaManna, Tracy (John) Moody, Christopher (Rosanna) LaManna, and Dawn; as well as 16 grandchildren and 18 Great-grandchildren. She has also left behind many nieces and nephews. Her legacy will live on through her family and the countless lives she touched, marked by her blunt honesty, bright personality, and deep love for those she held dear. 

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 54 years Philip LaManna, her 2 brother-in-laws Edward Brooks and Frank Curry, as well as her sister-in-law Jenny Curry. 

A graveside service to honor Evelyn’s life will be held on June 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery, 52 North Main Street, Pine Plains, New York. Immediately following a gathering and time of remembrance will be held at the Clock Tower in Copake, New York. Arrangements have been entrusted to Peck & Peck Funeral Homes.
