Edith J. Woodward

Pine Plains, NY - Edith J. Woodward, 94, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 26, 2015.

She was born on August 2, 1920 in Pine Plains, NY the daughter of Frank and Elizabeth (Knickerbocker) Morill.

Mrs. Woodward was a sewing machine operator for the Pine Plains Shirt Factory.

She was a member of the Pine Plains Ladies Auxiliary, an avid bowler and softball player. She was a good cook and especially liked spending time with the family around the holidays.

On October 4, 1940 in Pine Plains, NY she married the late Harold J. Woodward. He predeceased her on February 2, 2007.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandy Caswell of Pine Plains, NY; two sons, Alan "Woody" and his wife Joan Woodward of Ancram, NY; David and his wife Bonita Woodward of Westerville, OH; eight grandchildren, Rick, Jon, David, Abby, Sara, Anna, Michelle and Warren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandson.

There are no calling hours.

Funeral service and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
