Augusta ‘Gussie’ Ingleson, lovingly known as ‘Me-Me,’ 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 20, 2025. She was a lifelong resident of Clinton Corners.
Born on June 23, 1937 in Pine Plains, she was the daughter of the late Mildred M. Rockefeller. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Ingleson and her brothers LeRoy Johnson and Donald Johnson.
She worked at The Foxhollow Inn for over 20 years but her favorite job of all was raising all of her grandchildren. She cherished her home that was beautifully landscaped and decorated with lighthouses that she’s collected over the years. She never missed the opportunity to go out shopping with her family. She dedicated her life to her children and raising her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four “perfect” children: Cindy (Jeff) Coons, Cathy (Rick) Lloyd, Sandy (Michael) Czupryna, Scott (Lisa) Ingleson, her beloved grandchildren: Josh (Krystyn) Lloyd, Ashlee (Jay) Vucich, Jeremy (Courtney) Coons, Macy (Aaron) Stoddard, Tyler (Danielle) Lloyd, and Sam Czupryna and her ten great grandchildren, who all adored her. She is also survived by her sister-in-laws Gloria Doyle (Pine Plains) and Barbara Wesley (Red Hook).
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the ICU/CCU staff at Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital and Hudson Valley Hospice for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hudson Valley Hospice, Dutchess County Office.
A graveside service will take place privately at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
Me-Me will be missed beyond measure but we find peace in the love and memories shared.
