Anthony O'Connor

Anthony "Tony" O'Connor, 71 of Copake, NY passed away on Saturday December 12, 2015 at Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY.

Tony was born on July 15, 1944 in Ireland a son of Peter and Mary (Flanagan) O'Connor.

He had been employed for the past 25 years as a carpenter at Camp Pontiac in West Copake.

Tony was a communicant of Our Lady of Hope Parish in Copake Falls, a member of the Tuesday Night APA Pool League in Southern Columbia County, an avid fan of the New York Yankees and an accomplished woodworker.

Survivors include a son David O'Connor of Copake; his siblings, Mary Newton of Northfield, IL, Peter O'Connor (Noreen) of Ireland and Ann Kelly (Martin) also of Ireland. He also leaves nieces, nephews and many friends along with his Camp Pontiac family.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday December 17, 2015 at 1:30 PM from Our Lady of Hope Parish, 8074 State Route 22 in Copake Falls, NY with the Rev. George Brennan officiating.
