Roy E. Sherman

Roy E. Sherman, 87 passed on Thursday August 8, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.

He was born on January 15, 1932 in Stanfordville, NY a son of Ralph and Ruth (Shook) Sherman Sr.

A lifelong area resident he previously resided in Ancramdale, Millerton and Lakeville, CT. He had been employed on the Sommerhoff Dairy Farm in Ancramdale prior to his retirement.

He was pre deceased by his wife, Margaret C. (Miller) Sherman in 2010.

Survivors include his daughter, Sherry Shelton of Hillsdale, NY and his sons, Roy Sherman of Millerton and Milton Sherman of Lakeville. He also leaves three grandchildren, five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday August 22, 2019 at 11 AM at the Copake Cemetery.
