Jessica L. Cote

Germantown, MD – Jessica L. Cote, 31 passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at home.

She was born on February 1, 1987 in Niskayuna, NY the daughter of Bruce R. and Paula Jean (Cardish) Cote of Pine Plains, NY.

She was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with her BA in Political Science and earned her TESOL certificate (Teaching English as a Second Language) teaching many foreign students to speak English.  She is a graduate of Bow High School in Bow, NH and attended elementary school in Conneaut Lake, PA. 

Jessica was an avid runner and completed several marathons including the Philadelphia Marathon, Pittsburgh Marathon, Mohawk Hudson Marathon and the 39th Marine Corps Marathon.  She was a voracious reader enjoying a broad range of genres, and loved her little dog Fozzy. 

Jessica worked at Med Express in Pittsburgh, PA as Project Manager for many years, and most recently at UexamS in Rockville, MD as Project Coordinator helping disabled people take exams.

In addition to her loving parents, survivors include her brother, Joshua John Cote of Boston, MA.   

Calling hours are Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 4 to 8 at Peck & Peck Funeral Home 7749 South Main St. Pine Plains, NY.

Funeral service will be held Friday, April 13, at 10 AM from the funeral home.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
