Jeanette Malarchuk Obituary
Jeanette A. Malarchuk, 89 of Skunk’s Misery Rd. in Millerton, NY passed peacefully at her residence on Saturday July 7, 2018.
A life long local resident, she was born on September 14, 1928 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late James and Ada May (Scutt) Filippini.
A homemaker, Jeanette was also a home health care aide in the area and had previously been employed by the former Sharon Registry.
On March 3, 1946 she married Alexander Malarchuk at St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church in Pine Plains, NY. Mr. Malarchuk pre deceased her in 2006. She was also pre deceased by a grandson, Chad Malarchuk earlier this year.
Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Mike and Pam Malarchuk of Millerton and her daughters and son in laws, Angela and Richard Hutchings and Rose and William Parsons all of Pine Plains. She also leaves six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 14th at 11AM from the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, 7749 S. Main St. in Pine Plains with Vicar Jackie Jefferson officiating.
Friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4 – 7 PM
Interment will be in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery, Pine Plains.
