Jan was part of my Cancer Support Group in Great Barrington. I only knew her for a short time, but know that she was a wonderful lady. I found out tonight when I finally went back to the group after being absent for a month. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news. I am so sorry and even though you don't know me, I wish you the best in the future. She was a brave and wonderful person.

Jan's passing is sad on so many different levels. She spoke to me on countless occasions about the depth of her love for you I know you were sturdy pillars of love and support for her all throughout her life and her illness..
Jan was (and remains) an inspiration in her care and connection to our community.
Ours hearts are with you and her.

When we got the news it was the same as if we lost a member of our family .She always was so helpful and to us represented the best that Hillsdale had to offer. We never left the town hall without a smile. Our hearts go out to her family.

Janie (like her Mom) had a wonderful sole, a caring heart, and a loving presence, Then there was that spit fire of a jokester that if you were on the receiving end you better watch out, just ask Hal.
