Message from Friends and Family

Helen was a sweet, but tough lady. She loved her large family and truly enjoyed having them around her, but was very good at keeping everyone in line. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren as much as she loved her own children, and she cherished spending time with them. With my brother Warren having married into the Flower family, I am grateful to have known Helen, and enjoyed her and loved her. My prayers go out to Derry and Dale and to the rest of Helen's family. I know your hearts hurt, but may they heal quickly, and may you all hang onto your many special memories of Helen. Helen, to you I offer Christ's words in the Gospel of John, chapter 14, spoken shortly before his crucifixion and resurrection: "In my Father's house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going." Helen, I know that Christ came and took you to your dwelling place, right next to Bill. I wish you God's speed. Love, Pam

I am so sorry for your loss! Much Love to my cousins. I vividly remember "shooting hoops" at our house in NY when she was 53, and an excellent shot! This is one of several memories of Auntie Helen that will always bring a smile to my face.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember those barbecues where our families would get together and of course the Colts Club. May your mom rest in peace and hope you find comfort in the fact that she has now been reunited with your dad. Sending love and comfort, Kathy Ewin Guido and family
