George K. Wittlinger Jr.

George K. Wittlinger Jr., 57 of Ancramdale, NY passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018 at Vassar Bros. Hospital in Poughkeepsie, NY.

He was born on June 29, 1960 in Glen Cove, NY the son of George Wittlinger Sr, and Agnes Wittlinger, both of Ancramdale.

Prior to his illness George was employed as a welder with Dutchess Diesel in Millerton, NY.

He was a former member of the Ancram Fire Company, a member of the Ancram Lutheran Church and former Boy Scout Leader.

Surviving are his father and wife, George and Ruth Wittlinger Sr., his mother Agnes Wittlinger, a daughter, Jackie Wittlinger and a brother Daniel Wittlinger all of Ancramdale.

He was pre deceased by his son, James John Wittlinger earlier this year.

Funeral services will be held on Friday April 13, 2018 at 2:30 PM from the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake with Vicar Jackie Jefferson officiating.

Friends are invited and may call also on Friday from 12:00 – 2:30 PM.

Private interment will be held at a later date.
