Careen Lee Bowen

Careen Lee Bowen, 54 of Gallatin, NY passed away on Wednesday November 13, 2019 at Northern Dutchess Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on April 19, 1965 in Hudson, NY to Linda L. (Oakley) Bowen of Ancram, NY and the late David L. Bowen Sr.

Careen attended Taconic Hills and for the past 34 years had been employed by Taconic D.D.S.O. as a supervisor in a residential facility.

She had a love of flowers, gardening and tending to her numerous house plants. Careen enjoyed playing bingo, swimming, tag sales with family and adding to her large collection of anything associated with roosters.

She is survived by her mother Linda Bowen, a son Brian Ingles and his wife Aimee; a sister and brother in law, Lisa and Robert Stickle all of Ancram and a brother and sister in law, David and Kim Bowen Jr. of Johnsonville, NY. She also leaves her life partner Dave Clark of Gallatin along with his family, Michele and Eric Delage and Gabriell Clark, all of Catskill and Micheal Clark of Ancram. Additionally she leaves her grandchildren, Lorelei Ingles, Autumn Delage and Zekiel Delage and a special aunt, Linda Stickle. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited and may call on Monday November 18, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Peck and Peck Funeral Home, Route 22 in Copake, NY.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday November 19, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the funeral home with Vicar Jackie Jefferson officiating.

Burial will follow in the West Copake Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be offered to either the Ancram Fire Company or the American Cancer Society.
