Our sincere sympathy to the entire family.

When I came to Pine Plains with Linda to meet my birth family, Aunt Alice was the first person I met. I had some misgivings about whether or not I would be a welcome addition to the family after all those years. But Aunt Alice was friendly, warm and welcoming. Over the years that followed, she was always very loving. She has been a very special person to me. I'm glad she is rejoicing in heaven, instead of suffering here on earth, and I look forward to being with her again some day.
Sincerely,
Peggy (Francis's daughter)

Utch,
So sorry to learn of your mother's passing.....
While I didn't matriculate the primary grades at PP, I do recall her in the building, AND her being all around school for Torge. I guess that is my best recollection of her, mothering for the Norwegian kid......as well as you.....
Please convey condolences to your siblings......
Warm regards, and best wishes,,

My sincerest condolences to Mrs Fillipini's family. She was a grand lady. She was my kindergarten aide with Mrs. Roche back in 1960. I recall there were about 40 of us and I'm sure we kept those ladies hopping. I was out on the kindergarten playground and hopped on the wooden merry-go-round and got a splinter in my butt! It really hurt and I cried! Mrs. F told me to stop crying, I would be fine.....my father would have told me it was too far from my heart to kill me......but I digress. A trip to Dr Wicks for removal revealed a 2 inch shaft of wood going straight in. The next day I brought the splinter in to show her and informed her that I thought it's size was valid justification to cry! She had the patience of a saint!
